Apple WiFi CarPlay Issue with 2020 BMW. I have a new 2020 BMW X5 with wifi Apple Carplay that is very glitchy with BMW iDrive7. I have iPhone X and iPhone XSMax with the same issue on both phones. WiFi CarPlay will start, then stop, start again, sometimes pause permanently. Pushing play may work, may not. 5 sec delays to commands are routine.

Every map app (Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps) goes completely wonky. Map seems all disoriented and spins around. Owned several BMWs and never happened to me before!

I find using the mic button which brings up Siri and tell her to call someone pretty easy. Same for directions for MAPS.
